Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Duration: 3-6 hours
CPR is emergency lifesaving procedure performed when someone's breathing or heartbeat has stopped and combines rescue breathing and chest compressions. Rapid Response Training offers course certification of five different levels of CPR which combined with Automated External Defibrillation (AED) awareness training. AED Awareness covers a basic study of the device only. Duration of course programs vary according to level chosen. These programs are:
- CPR LEVEL A & AED AWARENESS
- Duration 3.0-4.0 Hrs
- This certification teaches candidates to recognize cardiovascular emergencies and provide one rescuer CPR and choking techniques for adults. This program is geared toward the workplace and general public
- CPR LEVEL B & AED AWARENESS
- Duration 3.0-4.0 Hrs
- This certification teaches candidates to recognize cardiovascular emergencies and provide one rescuer CPR and choking techniques for adults, children and infants. This program is geared toward the workplace and general public
- CPR LEVEL C (LAY RESCUER) & AED AWARENESS
- Duration 4.0-6.0 Hrs
- This certification teaches candidates to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking in Adults, Children, and Infant. This program is geared toward the workplace, families, parents, general public, and child care
- CPR LEVEL C BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) formerly HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONAL (HCP) & AED
- Duration 4.0-6.0 Hrs
- This certification is specifically offered to Health Care Professionals for instruction on how to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies and choking in Adults, Children, and Infants using pulse checks, Bag-Valve Masks (BVM) and a team approach. This program is geared toward professional rescuers, (i.e. Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics and other First Responders)
- CPR LEVEL D (INFANT/CHILD) & AED AWARENESS
- Duration 45 Mins
- This certification is included in all Emergency and Standard First Aid Certifications (at no additional charge) and teaches candidates to recognize cardiovascular emergencies and provide one rescuer CPR and choking techniques for infants or children.

NoteParticipants can only re-certify with the company they originally certified with. If they do not hold a Perri-Med Certification they will be required to take a full course.
